Protected Compression Gas Spring
Product Description
If your application is in a dusty/dirty environment, likely to suffer impacts to the rod or of a particularly long stroke length then it is advisable to use a Protected Compression Gas Spring (GP). Our standard Compression Gas Spring (G) has a hard chrome plated rod for durability and smooth operation, however if this rod becomes damaged or bent it could lead to premature seal wear and a shorter lifespan.
Standard Features
- 316L Stainless Steel or Mild Steel types available both with Hard Chrome Plated rod.
- Strokes from 10mm to 1500mm - Protection Sleeve may be required on longer strokes.
- Force range 25N to 7500N.
- Valve (V) is standard on all models.
- Wide range of End Fittings.
- All Spring models can be re-pressurised.
- BCP is standard on Mild Steel (E).
- Polished is standard on Stainless (S).

- Screw on extenders to increase the length of stock springs
