Protected Tension Gas Spring

Product Description

Our standard Tension Gas Spring (T) has a hard chrome plated rod for durability and smooth operation, however if this rod becomes damaged or bent it could lead to premature seal wear and a shorter lifespan. If your application is in a dusty/dirty environment, likely to suffer impacts to the rod or of a particularly long stroke length then it is advisable to use a Protected Tension Gas Spring (TP).

Standard Features

316L Stainless Steel or Mild Steel types available both with Hard Chrome Plated rod.
Strokes from 10mm to 1500mm - Protection Sleeve may be required on longer strokes.
Force range 25N to 1250N.
Valve (V) is standard on all models.
Wide range of End Fittings.
All Spring models can be re-pressurised.
BCP is standard on Mild Steel (E).
Polished is standard on Stainless (S).
