Side Valve Compression Gas Spring

Product Description

The same basic concepts as a Compression Gas Spring (G) but this product has a side release valve that is operated with an Allen key (supplied). This allows the Spring to be installed and then depressurised down to the correct force whilst still on the application. Saving you time, hassle and setup costs. Ideal for quick changeovers if you don’t know the force you need your Gas Spring to be manufactured to.

Standard Features

Side Mounted Valve (SV) is standard on all models in this range.
316L Stainless Steel or Mild Steel types available both with Hard Chrome Plated rod.
Strokes from 10mm to 1000mm - Protection Sleeve may be required on longer strokes.
Force range 25N to 7500N.
Wide range of End Fittings.
All Spring models can be re-pressurised.
BCP is standard on Mild Steel (E).
Polished is standard on Stainless (S).

Non-Magnetic Gas Springs

Where it's a necessity, or at the very least, important not to be magnetic, we can help. For use with specific equipment such as in the medical sector with MRI and CT scanners, hospital beds and operating theatre tables.
